Not everyone knows that Eva Longoria was a fitness instructor before she was able to get the much coveted role in Desperate Housewives. She has a degree in kinesiology in A & M University-Kingsville in Texas. Kinesiology is the study of how the body moves. Eva Longoria has a personal trainer to look after her progress in the name of Patrick Murphy. Murphy usually goes to Longoria’s house thrice a week for an hour of everyday session.
Her role in Desperate Housewives seemed to be a fitting character for the gorgeous actress as she played an Ex model Gabrielle Solis. Eva shared that when she was young her mom used to give her protein rich foods for breakfast. This includes egg whites and protein shakes. Eva was used to working out without taking anything and so this protein rich diet helped her get through her routines. She also relayed that in the set of Desperate Housewives, it’s not so difficult for her to keep track of her meals since all of the women are careful with what they eat and opted for fresh fruits and salads.
So how does her workout go along? They say celebrities lived a very comfortable life and one of the perks of being one is the ability to hire a personal trainer to guide your every move. For Eva Longoria the exercise and maintenance need not be everyday as her trainer would go three times a week. To give her a warm up she starts her early morning exercise with a walk in the treadmill for 10 minutes. Eva and her personal trainer focused mainly on body exercise that include, exercising the torso with the torso twists, one legged squat and a lot more routines focusing mainly in sculpting the body.
However, Patrick Murphy usually gave her client rest of 30 to 45 seconds in between exercises. This has become a routine they both religiously do in achieving great shape. Eva’s dedication and discipline has made her to be one of the most beautiful actresses in Hollywood giving her a lot of recognition. Her dedication to body workouts and exercise has paid all her efforts off.
This has been the envy of a lot of women who want to loose extra bulges and inches in their waistlines. Eva even at her early 30’s embodies a woman not only in her good physique but also projected a healthy, strong and youthful looking enough to match his very young 22 years old husband, Tony Parker.
